Do your children from Liverpool need support?

Hi everyone.
I wanted to let you know that I work for a social care organisation in Liverpool and we run a small community based service for prisoners children. We provide children both 1:1 support and support in groups where they meet children of similar ages who can share their experience. We find this greatly benefits the children as they often cannot talk about what they are going through in school for fear of being judged/bullied...but in our groups they can be relaxed and realise their situation is not isolated. In the groups we have fun activities such as drama, art, sports and days out, but we also give the children the chance to discuss anything that is worrying them. Some children have regular prison visits, some such contact by letters, and some have very limited contact so it does vary. I do realise that many of you reading this will not be Liverpool based and be thinking "why isnt there something near me?". I wholeheartedly agree...all I can say is the more we prove the need and the benefit for this kind of service, the more the government will be forced to listen to the plight of this overlooked group. Our funding too is under threat and we may not be here after March next year. So even though I am always full to capactity I endevor to make room for new families and the high demand only goes to show that we are indeed wanted. Also I am writing my PhD on the value of community support for children of prisoners....so if anyone wants to contribute an annonymous interview, and it doesnt matter where you are from, I would be most grateful. I intend that the PhD findings will be add to the body of research that is forcing the government to take note so you will be helping a wider cause! I am new to this site...can anyone tell me if there is a private way I can give people contact details?
Kind regards.
Elle.
